There’s so much of Ireland to see…

We get it. Travel planning can feel overwhelming. And we’re here to help you! If it’s your first time exploring beautiful Ireland, a Western trajectory like this one showcases everything from rugged coastlines to breath-taking castles.

Dingle

3 Nights

Your adventure begins on the Dingle Peninsula, a land of breathtaking natural beauty where rugged cliffs meet the wild Atlantic. Here, you’ll explore the Blasket Islands, remnants of a bygone era, and savor the rich flavors of Ireland’s liquid gold at the Dingle Distillery.

Doolin

3 Nights

From Dingle, you venture to Doolin, a charming village nestled at the edge of the awe-inspiring Cliffs of Moher. The sheer majesty, if anything, defies description and more than lives up to their reputation.

Galway

2 Nights

Your exploration continues in Galway, a vibrant city brimming with history, music, and culinary delights. Here you’ll enjoy a food tour, and the opportunity to acquire a timeless treasure – a Claddagh ring – from the very shop where this iconic symbol originated.

Connemara

2 Nights

Capping off your Irish adventure: the rugged beauty of Connemara, where a five-star castle hotel awaits. Spend an engrossing morning at Kylemore Abbey, then tee off on a championship golf course, followed by rejuvenating spa treatments… You don’t have to imagine it, you can live it!

When To Travel

To truly savor the Emerald Isle, consider traveling between April and June for lush landscapes and pleasant weather before the majority of tourists arrive. For a more tranquil experience, the fall offers stunning scenery and fewer crowds. Remember, Ireland’s weather is as unpredictable as it is enchanting, so pack for sunshine, showers, and everything in between!

Have Questions About Your Dream Trip to Ireland?

While Ireland may look like a small country on the map it is slightly more difficult to navigate. The winding roads paired with their non-direct motorways add time to any trip. I highly encourage clients to spend 8-12 days if possible. This allows you to see so much of the country and enjoy the places you visit along the way without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Absolutely! The Irish are among the most welcoming people you could meet. Plus, everyone speaks English. Whether you are lost and looking for directions or want to know the best place for a pint, you’ll feel right at home. There are pockets of the country called Gaeltachts where Irish and Gaielge are spoken. These special places can be visited if you’re wanting to hear the native language.
Keeping in mind travel time I always suggest clients pair Ireland with Scotland or the UK! With direct flight patterns these destinations keep your travel days open for exploring as well. If you decide to add another destination to your trip I highly encourage you to elongate your trip to two weeks if possible!
We work with many families to help them discover and visit places that are meaningful to their family heritage. From visiting the village where your family members lived before leaving Ireland during the famine, to discovering local ties that still exist, our incredible historians and guides can take you back in time.
Both options are wonderful ways to see Ireland and offer unique experiences. If you plan to do a road trip I encourage clients that less is more. Roads in Ireland are deceiving and while it seems not too far, the winding roads and random sheep roadblocks can add lots of time to your day. Road trips can be exhausting so keeping realistic expectations can make them more fun! Having a private driver or guide who is native to the area allows you to truly take in everything you see. You’ll discover hidden gems most people miss. While more expensive, this option allows you more freedom to sit back, relax, and enjoy.
Ireland has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to drinking and driving. Legally, you are not allowed to have any alcohol in your system while operating a vehicle. This is something our team takes seriously and will plan accordingly when visiting local breweries or distilleries.
